Set between the events of the official games, Portal: Revolution seeks to offer a genuinely fresh adventure with new types of puzzles and characters. Revolution does not require any other investment, and its description paints a picture of an ambitious and expansive project. Now, technically, this recommendation is not free since players need to own Portal 2, which naturally costs money however, one has to assume that many Steam users have access to Valve's classic already, especially since it is regularly on sale for nearly nothing. Portal: Revolution has the potential to fill that void, and the mod is set to launch at the beginning of January 2024. ![]() As Valve seems allergic to third entries, Portal fans need to look inward to experience something akin to a sequel or a prequel. ![]()
